Just before a storm at Rhayader

Day 2: Llangurig - Dolfach - Gamalt - Rhayader

On Saturday we walked from Llangurig to Rhayader. Somewhere in between we had a nice picnic at a bridge. The landscape is pretty rural here; we saw a farm - so now and then thousands of sheep and cows - but almost no humans. But this changed really after we arrived in Rhayader. We had some nice coffees in a coffee shop near the monument in the centre of this little town.

The people were very friendly and this didn't change at all in the pub with the Welsh name, Cwmdauddwr Arms, where we had our dinner that night. We all put our tents up at a camping next to the river. We had a nice shower, and in the morning we left clean and fresh . By the way: our dogs were very well treated in the pubs and campsites at Llangurig as well as at Rhayader.
